You’ve Got Questions, I’ve Got Needles (and Answers).

  • Short answer? Not really. Most people are shocked by how little they feel. The needles are hair-thin — nothing like the ones used for shots or blood draws. You might feel a tiny pinch, a dull ache, warmth, or a subtle buzzing sensation. Then… you melt into the table.

  • A lot. Acupuncture is commonly used for pain (neck, back, shoulders, headaches), stress, anxiety, sleep issues, hormonal imbalances, digestion, fatigue, and nervous system regulation. If your body feels off, overwhelmed, inflamed, or stuck — we can work with that.

  • It depends on your body, your goals, and how long things have been brewing. Some people feel shifts quickly. Chronic or long-standing issues usually require a series. Think momentum, not magic wand. We’ll create a plan that makes sense for your life.

  • We talk first — because you’re a human, not a symptom list. I’ll ask questions, assess what’s going on, and then create a treatment strategy. You’ll rest with needles in place (20–30 minutes of forced relaxation… you’re welcome). Depending on what you need, we may layer in cupping, gua sha, moxa, tui na, or e-stim.

  • Loose, comfy clothing is ideal. We often access points on the arms and legs; you will always be appropriately covered and comfortable.

  • Yes. Acupuncture is extremely safe when performed by a licensed professional - we are required to undergo extensive education, including detailed study of human anatomy and training in Clean Needle Technique. I use sterile, single-use needles and follow strict safety protocols. Your nervous system is in good hands.

  • Absolutely. Acupuncture works beautifully alongside physical therapy, chiropractic care, mental health therapy, functional medicine, and conventional medical treatments. We’re team “integrative,” not either/or.

  • Nope. While I deeply understand the chronic illness world, I also work with active, health-focused individuals who want to optimize performance, recover faster, regulate stress, balance hormones, and feel like themselves again. You don’t have to be falling apart to come in.

  • Some people float out after one session. Others notice gradual, steady shifts — better sleep, calmer mood, less tension, more energy. The goal isn’t a temporary high; it’s sustainable change.

  • Short answer: I’m considered out-of-network.

That means I’m not currently a participating provider with any insurance networks. But don’t click away just yet — if your plan includes out-of-network acupuncture benefits, you may still get reimbursed.

After your session, I can provide you with a detailed “superbill” that you submit directly to your insurance company. Coverage varies by policy.

Not sure what your plan covers? A quick call to your insurance provider asking about “out-of-network acupuncture benefits” will give you the clearest answer.

    Transparent care. No surprise energy.

  • I don’t follow rigid protocols just because they’re standard. I blend evidence-based practice with clinical intuition and lived experience. Your treatment is precise, strategic, and built around your real life — not a template.
